SUBVERSIVE SHARIA

I read an interesting article, “The U.S. Constitution and Sharia Law” in their November 2011 newsletter that I received from the National Center for Constitutional Studies. Here are the concluding two paragraphs of that article:

In conclusion, it is clear from the writings of several of our earliest presidents**, as well as the texts of the nation’s founding documents, that American principles are not at odds with – and imperiled by – some “radical” or “extreme” version of Islam. Rather, it is the mainstream doctrine of sharia that constitutes the threat to the U.S. Constitution and the freedoms it enshrines. That incompatibility has several practical implications: For one thing, the sharia legal code cannot be insinuated into America – even through stealthy means or democratic processes – without violating the Constitution’s Article VI Supremacy Clause, which requires that the Constitution “shall be the supreme Law of the land.”

Even more reprehensible is the willingness of some among America’s elites, and it would appear even a subset of its elected leaders to accede to these groups’ increasingly insistent contention that sharia is compatible with the U.S. Constitution. In fact, based on sharia’s tenets, its core attributes – especial its intolerance of other faiths and disfavored populations and its bid for supremacy over all other legal or political systems, there can be no confusion on this score: As the Framers fully understood, SHARIA IS AN ENEMY OF THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION. The two are incompatible.

** This is in stark contrast to the TelePrompted speeches and guiding ideology of the current U.S. president!

ATTACKING LOWES: CAIR and Friends Play the Victim

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism trial ever in the history of the U.S. and a Muslim Brotherhood front group connected to the terrorist organization Hamas, responded with fury to the Lowe’s decision. According to CAIR, such a decision could only have been motivated by anti-Muslim sentiments…

CAIR and its enablers realize they are losing the battle for public opinion. They are unable to dispute the facts, so the only card they have to play is the victim card, lashing out with increasing ferocity in the hope of diverting attention from the real issue — that the ideology of radical Islam is a genuine threat to the safety, security and freedom of the United States.

To illustrate, in 1998, CAIR co-founder Omar Ahmad was quoted in a California newspaper as saying, “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Qur’an should be the highest authority in America.”…

In one respect, CAIR is doing America a great service. With every escalation of its unfounded attacks, it provides more Americans with the opportunity to see who they really are — not a “civil rights organization,” but a radical group intent on imposing Sharia law on America.

America must recognize that Islam and Islam's Sharia Law are not a benign creed, just a different way of following God. No, at its essence it is a political-militaristic-cultural-religious system that is antithetical and incompatible with the United States Constitution and freedoms described and protected therein. The current occupier of the White House is leading this country down the wrong path when he appeases, protects, and promotes this system either out of naiveté or by a deliberate chosen course of action.
