People who claim to be environmentalists drive cars that pollute the air and use electricity produced by the burning of coal which pollutes the air. The Amish (and other Ludites) are the only real environmentalists. Everyone else who makes this claim is just another polluter and a hypocrite. Sure, I would rather not have to put CO and CO2 into the air and that we should be good stewards of what God has given us, and so forth, but there are things in life that more important than stopping that kind of pollution.
Numbers 35:33 says, “So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood it defileth the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it.”
Mark 8:36 says, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”
Proverbs 25:21, 22 says, “If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.”
