Barbara Walters' Politically Correct Christmas

On the ABC-TV (distorted & mourning) View show last Thursday that blithering, blathering bitty Barbara Walters was very disturbed by the 2007 Christmas card she received from the occupants of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Horrors upon horrors that Christmas card contained a real live Bible verse! Hurry, call the DC PC police. Dah, Ms. Walters, it’s a Christmas card! It’s Christmas, for heaven’s sake! Do you want a wise Confucius’ saying, or some innocuous new age slogan or a quote from Muhammad’s hate-filled book? What did you expect? It is Christmas!

Besides, Barbara, you ought to be happy you got a card from the President. I would not have sent you one.

Bush is criticized incessantly for everything, major to minutiae, by the main stream media. He is lambasted for prosecuting the war on terror in Iraq and now even for the content of his Christmas card. Doesn’t this geriatric journalist have anything of substance to discuss and has to stoop to picking on our first couples’ choice of Christmas cards? Ms. Walters is very much troubled that President Bush and the First Lady dared send out a “religious Christmas card” actually quoting a Judeo-Christian Bible verse from the Old Testament.

Here’s the offensive card, Please send your children out of the room when you view the words below. We would not want our children to learn the truth about Christmas. That it is NOT the commercialized gift receiving, Santa-Claus fantasy, the celebration of the Winter Solstice, the pagan holiday that it has become, now would we?

Here is that most egregious bible passage quoted in the Bushes' Christmas card:

“You alone are the LORD. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you.”

- - - Nehemiah 9:6, Old Testament
