GOP CNN YouTube.com Debate

Mitt Romney, Rudy Giuliani, John McCain and Fred Thompson were no shows at the Value Voters Debate in Florida where the large block of value voters, Christians and conservatives would have welcomed their presence. The questions were tough, but no tougher than those asked Wednesday evening in the so-called CNN/YouTube/Democrat Party Plant Debate held this past Wednesday.

Despite shunning the Value Voters Debate the main stream media (MSM) anointed and approved top four GOP candidates ran into foreign territory, a liberal stronghold and endured the best shots from, as it turns out, Obama, Rodham-Clinton and Edwards supporters. That is one major reason I have written off these four conservatives-in-name-only. None of the four are worthy of my vote for this and many other reasons.

Overall the GOP candidates despite the obstacles gave a good accounting of themselves for the most part. Duncan Hunter, Tom Tancredo and Mike Huckabee seemed to be especially effective. I would give the Republicans as a whole a “B” and the three named above “A”s. The so-called first tier candidates I rate a “C”. Representative Ron Paul was a “B” for sticking to his principles, whereas Thompson, Giuliani, Romney and McCain do not seem to have conservative principle, do not go far enough, or if they do not align with mine.
