Biggest Story of 2007

(Washington, D.C.) The nearly single digit approval ratings of the Congress and the President’s own almost equally dismal approval ratings are THE major story this year. Never has the Congress of the United States been this disrespected and disregarded as the 110th Congress.

The people spoke in 2006, yet neither the GOP nor the Democrats appear to have listened. The people wanted our southern border secured. Congress and the President said OK and went their merry way spitting in the face of “We the People”. They did nothing. The people wanted change in Washington. What do the Democrat and Republican Parties serve us up? Senators Clinton, Edwards and Obama all three stale rotted rehashed radical liberals hell bent on driving the country to hell.

McCain, Romney, Thompson and Giuliani is the “best” the GOP can give us? All four are at best pseudo-Conservatives bent on grabbing power and advancing global businesses agendas no matter the cost to workers in jobs or giving China tax breaks and advantages galore. All pander to the social, fiscal and Christian conservatives and will like our “beloved” President Bush do what “We the People” do not want – sell us a bill of goods: the North American Union, the Law of the Sea Treaty, more Free (for who? not U.S.) Trade, and (loose) lip service border security, free spending what we do not have, and AMNESTY for illegal aliens!

As 2007 comes to an end it is good to reflect on where we are at individually and where we are as a society. Society is made up of individuals. We will talk about society and where it is at right now. In 2007, thanks much to unorganized boycott of many previous values voters in the 2006 elections due to Republican corruption and complacency, catapulted Speaker Nancy “I am the most Powerful Woman in America, he he” Pelosi and Harry “You said you would never ever see any Democrat leader worse than Senator Daschle, well here I am” Reid a swing to the left.

During 2007 evil forces have worked feverishly making advances in infiltrating key positions of influence for bad in our society. For the past five decades the forces of good stood aside and let the judicial and academic elite separate God from the schools and the state. The forces of good stood by and said nothing when the pornographers moved from the corner adult bookshops to set up shop in Hollywood and on the Internet. We go to movies, whose violent, vulgar and gratuitous sexual content would embarrass WWII soldiers, let alone our mothers and grandmothers. The forces of good stood by and did nothing when the black robbed tyrannical judges gave us abortion on demand, giving the woman the right to kill her baby. The forces of good stood by when the black (fitting) robed judges said sodomy was now no longer illegal as it had been for nearly 2000 years.

In 2007 the corrupt Congress led by the likes of Senators Edward Kennedy, Charles Schumer and Barbara Boxer tied up the President’s court appointments, put roadblock after roadblock to hogtie the President’s efforts on the war on terror, tried to ram unnecessary and heinous Hate Thought/Crimes legislation and wanted to give special rights to homosexuals creating a new and special class protecting and promoting perverse behavior through the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA).

For these reasons named above I nominate the pitiful but wholly justified abysmal Congressional and Presidential approval ratings as this year’s “top” story. We have truly hit a new low in non-responsiveness to “We the People”. Let us hope and pray that things will change for the better in 2008.
