The Candidates: From Acceptable to Atrocious

Here is my assessment of the current slate of GOP & Democrat candidates for president. They are categorized and listed in the order of my voting preference.

Acceptable:

* Rep. Duncan Hunter

or

* Rep. Tom Tancredo

These two men are strong conservatives and seem to be bible believing Christians having principled positions on the issues that are important to me (pro-life, traditional family and marriage protection, immigration and the war on terror)

Marginally Acceptable:

* Gov. Mike Huckabee

Seems to me that 60% of the Value Voters at the Value Voters Debate in Florida and those who of us who voted at the Value Voters Washington Briefing can't all be wrong. He is definitely not perfect (immigration, education). He does want to do away with the IRS. To me he is more acceptable than the remaining 5 GOP candidates and all of the Democrat candidates.

Seriously Flawed on Foreign Relations:

* Rep. Ron Paul

He doesn't seem to understand the Islamic threat. Isolationist.

Unacceptable - Unprincipled Politicians:

* Sen. Fred Thompson
* Sen. John McCain

Atrocious - Liberals in Republican Clothing:

* Gov. Mitt Romney
* Mayor Rudy Giuliani

More atrocious – Radical liberal leftists:

· Gov. Bill Richardson
· Sen. Joseph Biden
· Sen.
Christopher Dodds
· Sen.
John Edwards
· Sen.
Barrack Hussien Obama
· Sen. Hillary Rodham-Clinton
· Rep. Dennis Kucinich

Unlike the GOP candidates, where there is some differentiation between candidates, there does not seem to be a dimes worth of difference between any of the Democrat Party candidates except maybe the degree of offensive radical leftism they embrace.

The Democrats for the most part tow the party line: they are all staunch defenders of a woman's "right" to murder her baby, all advocate and support the unnatural, immoral and unhealthy homosexual lifestyle choice, all seem to support destruction of traditional marriage and the natural family unit. All seem to favor big-government, all would raise taxes, all would appease as opposed to confronting Islamic terrorism . . .

  1. While I believe in Christ and righteous living and agree with many of your views, some of your views also border on irrational intolerance and narrow mindedness based on Limbaugh-type media spin rather than actual assessments of pros and cons of the issues or individuals you discuss.

  2. Yes, I agree Jason. Ron Paul is less of an isolationist than you are. Is the only reason you say that because he is against the war in Iraq? Paul is in favor of the war in Afghanistan, he is in favor of free trade. The only things that could make him less of an isolationist would be to become a globalist.
