Border Insanity

The illegal alien invasion marches on and into the United States. We are being invaded by a non-uniformed army everyday. These invaders may be carrying drugs, disease and detonators and who knows what else. The government by deliberate inaction is seemingly acquiescing, appearing impotent to stop them.

The National Guard, which President Bush reluctantly sent to the border under public pressure, allegedly to back up the border patrol, was apparently overrun by gunman on the Arizona border this past Wednesday night. Click here to see the story and related news videos reporting on this incident.

It is absurd that the border with Mexico is still relatively unsecured. Is President Bush so hell bent on the North American Union that he does not want to jeopardize relations with Mexico? Something is terribly wrong. I say unshackle the National Guard, send more troops to the border and seal it up once and for all.

Let’s enforce the laws that are on the books, let’s let the IRS deny any payments by businesses to illegals for wages paid and let the IRS fine those businesses severely. Let’s jail and severely punish the business owners that hire and facilitate the employment of illegal aliens. NO AMNESTY. ENFORCE OUR IMMIGRATION LAWS NOW. BEGIN TO RETURN THE ILLEGALS TO THEIR COUNTRIES OF ORIGIN NOW.

What does Speaker Pelosi or Majority Leader Reid have in mind to solve this serious problem? Will they be only concerned in forcing their socialist agenda on America? With President Bush not providing any leadership on this issue, America waffles and wavers and more illegals enter by the hour. Will someone please listen to Representative Tom Tancredo (author of In Mortal Danger: The Battle for America's Border and Security), who wants to solve this terrible problem? Let’s bug our representatives and senators until they wake up from their lethargy and really solve this problem.
