The way the price of oil is escalating and the on-going anti-energy-development elements in the Democratic Party and in the extreme environmentalist movement both putting one roadblock upon another to any attempt to develop our own oil reserves in Alaska and elsewhere, we may soon be paying $5/gallon for gas. They won't even permit new nuclear plants to be built. They are the first to blame President Bush and "Big Oil" for something I lay a significant portion of the blame for high gas prices squarely at their feet. Since Speaker Nancy "I am the most powerful woman in the world" Pelosi has led Congress, the price of gas has gone up with absolutely no viable solution presented by either Pelosi or her fellow Democrats comrades.

At the core of the complaint/lawsuit is an anonymous atheist father-daughter team. The poor thing felt “pressure” to take a bible that was offered her, afraid her peers would condemn this overly sensitive child. The child would have no problem taking a Harry Potter book with its occult influenced content or a book about witches. But “XXX-forbid” should someone give her a book of truth the very Word of “XXX” So we deny the rights of 99 for one atheist? Is this a case of the insane (atheists) running the asylum (educational system)? Basically, this is were political correctness leads. It is not a pretty sight.
Ironically, the same article quoted a gloating Marjorie R. Esman, executive director of the ACLU chapter, who stated, "A child shouldn't have to choose between her family's beliefs and the wishes of school administrators." That is unless the parents believe strongly in Jesus Christ or in God, then let all hell break out if His name is even mentioned in the XXXless government secular humanist propaganda mills (aka schools). Hypocracy? Yes, I think so.
America where have you gone? We need to wake up before all of our freedoms are lost and we are made to serve the state and not allowed to choose to serve the God of the universe.

It is a matter of history that when Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces, General Dwight Eisenhower, found the victims of the death camps he ordered all possible photographs to be taken, and for the German people from surrounding villages to be ushered through the camps and even made to bury the dead.He did this because he said in words to this effect: "Get it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses -because somewhere down the track of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened"

How many years will it be before the attack on the World Trade Center "never happened" because it offends some Muslim in the U.S.??????
There are many parallels between Islam and radical liberalism as espoused and pimped by the likes of the ACLU. Make no mistake, both are enemies of America. Both use lies and intimidation to accomplish their goals. Indeed, the ACLU is “Jihad with a law degree.” What a perfectly apt description and what a wonderful summary statement capturing the core purpose and meaning of this vile, vicious and deceitful organization.
Al Qaeda is a foreign terrorist operation desiring to inflict damage on America and Americans whenever and wherever it can, while the ACLU has worked, since its inception by Roger Nash Baldwin, subversively within our borders to do the same. The Islamic terrorists use Islam, the Koran, and its religious system of mosques and madrassas (Islamic schools) to poison, propagandize and subvert the populace. The ACLU uses the courts and the legal system to threaten and to file numerous needless lawsuits against those who oppose or get in the way of its socialist-Marxist agenda.

Recently, the extreme environmentalist and those duped by them celebrated Earth Day. The earth is neither “living”, eternal or divine. The radical environmentalists are trying to save what will one day be destroyed, I wrote of it in my article regarding the ramification of the Fall of Man. In that article I wrote that the god of Islam would remanufacture the earth. A comment was made that the term, “restore the earth,” applied to water causing the land to grow vegetation after a drought has ended with new rainfall. This seemed like a plausible explanation of the term restore until I discovered something different in the Koran. We will begin with the anonymous comment that was posted to my article.
“The verses you cite from the Qur’an have nothing to do with the recreation of the planet Earth, as you imagine it. Instead the verses have to do with the recreation of man (i.e., the hereafter, the Day of Judgment). The pagan Arabs could not believe that mankind would be resurrected. In the two verses you cite in the 30th Surah, 11 and 27, Allah (swt) is trying to tell the Arabs through the Qur’an that His recreation of them will be just as easy for Him as was their original creation.
‘As for verse 57:17, when Allah (swt) refers to the earth reviving after its “death,” He means soil that has dried out (such as a desert or a land that has undergone a drought), which can come back to life (support new plant life) after rainfall.
‘Please don’t take the Qur’an at face value; doing so will only result in misunderstanding such as this. To understand the Qur’an well requires study in the historical, linguistic, and theological context. While that road is more difficult and lengthier, It produces more gems of understanding. Keep up your study of the Qur’an; insha’allah (if God wills), one day you too may become a Muslim.”
THE KOANIC ACCOUNT
“On that day We shall roll up the heaven like a scroll of parchment. Just as We brought the First Creation into being, so will We restore it. This is a promise We shall assuredly fulfill (1).”
“Are the disbelievers unaware that the heavens and the earth were but one solid mass which We tore asunder, and that We made every living thing from water? Will they not have faith (2)?”
COMMENTARY ON THE KORAN & ANONYMOUS COMMENTS
“Rolling up heaven like a scroll of parchment” is not some drought taking place on earth. The observable universe is thirty billion light years in diameter and no one knows how far beyond this the universe extends. To roll this up like a scroll of parchment would take some doing. The sun in the sky is eight hundred thousand miles in diameter. There are other stars much larger. The star Herculis is six hundred and ninety million miles in diameter (3). Then the universe must be put away. This is what happens when scrolls are rolled up; they are put away. Presumably the universe will condense into a solid spherical mass.
Just as the god of Islam brought about the first creation so he will restore it. We read that the heavens and the earth were one solid mass which was torn apart and heaven and earth came from that. This would mean that the universe would not go to nothing. The Koran does not show that everything is created from nothing. This would mean that sin would still be a part of the renewed earth and heaven. To get sin out of the universe it would have to be reduced to nothing.
Restore would mean bringing back to the original condition without destroying the original work. Perhaps the original creation had sin in it as an integral part of it.
THE BIBICAL ACCOUNT
“I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea (4).”
“And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the tree (5).”
“The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness (6).”
COMMENTARY ON THE BIBLICAL ACCOUNT
The phrase “Wherein dwelleth righteousness” implies that the current universe does not have righteousness dwelling within it. When Adam sinned this brought sin not only into the human race, and the world, but also into the furthest reaches of the universe. The first heaven and the first earth are passed away means that the current heaven and earth will disappear in a fervent heat. God does not have to recycle. No amount of refining of the current universe would eliminate sin from the elements. Therefore, the entire universe will be reduced to nothing. God will then make a new universe out of nothing.
Would you like to enter into the new heaven and the new earth? Those who are born again will do so. Jesus shed His blood and received the wrath of God against Himself for you and me. You can invite Jesus into your heart right now. You can pray this simple prayer, “Lord Jesus Christ forgive me of my sins and come into my heart.”

"The only foundation for a useful education in a republic is to be laid in religion."
--- Benjamin Rush, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence
[MOUNT VERNON, OHIO) Thursday, April 24, 2008 - "Freshwater controversy continues" – MountVernonNews.com reports this controversy has poured out into the Mount Vernon community. There are supporters and detractors of Mr. Freshwater.
According to an online article on the MountVernonNews website, “Retired middle school science teacher Jeff George (who) worked alongside Freshwater at Mount Vernon Middle School in the late 1980s and early ’90s . . . said there may be substance to other allegations that Freshwater used the classroom to advance his own personal beliefs. “The school administration has known for a long time that Freshwater was crossing the line, and he should have been fired a long time ago.”
“George recalls several occasions when Freshwater “didn’t always stay on track with science. What he was teaching was not true, and there have been numerous complaints over the years.” (On more than one occasion, evaluations in Freshwater’s file indicate that Freshwater was directed to work more closely with George in following the course of study.) . . .
““He (Freshwater) was promoting a particular belief system,” George said, “and preached against other religions, not just Muslims or Jews or Hindus, but also any Christian denomination that was different from his.””
(MANSFIELD, OHIO) Thursday, April 24, 2008 - "We need more teachers like John Freshwater" – The following is a Letter to the Editor which appeared in the Mansfield News Journal on April 24, 2008. The following are some very enlightening words by David Green of Lexington, Ohio the Pastor, Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in Mansfield. I took the liberty to bold some of the words for emphasis.
“The Mount Vernon school district ought to be ashamed. I read in disbelief the story about Mr. Freshwater's Bible. The part that amazed me is that he was not accused of teaching from the Bible, he was accused of having his Bible on his desk. I think this teacher ought to be commended for having his Bible in the school, and I wish there were more teachers like him.
“The First Amendment does not grant people freedom from religion, but it grants freedom of religion. The Founding Fathers did not intend to keep religion out of school. In fact, it was just the opposite. I own reprints of such 18th and 19th century schoolbooks as The New England Primer and McGuffey's Readers. These books are full of references about God and the Bible.
“Now the schoolbooks do not mention God, and teachers are apparently not allowed to even show their Bible in the classroom where the kids can see. During the early years of our nation, it was unheard of for one child to rape another. They had guns, but they did not shoot each other. Now, God has been "expelled" from the public schools and rapes and school shootings are much too common. Coincidental? I think not.
“These kids need to know the Ten Commandments, the golden rule, and the fact they were made in the image of God. The Bible was good enough for our Founding Fathers, and it is good enough for our kids today. I appreciate Mr. Freshwater's stand on this, and would encourage him to continue fighting.
“Benjamin Rush, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence wrote, "The only foundation for a useful education in a republic is to be laid in religion." And in the Bible, we read a warning that we all need to pay attention to: "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God." (Psalm 9:17).”
Combs wrote in her email, “Last week, a radical majority of judicial tyrants on the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals, ruled that New Jersey football coach, Marcus Borden, at East Brunswick High School, may not participate in the prayers his team conducts before their football games, nor can he participate in silent acts. The judicial tyranny by judges appointed by Jimmy ‘The Islamic-Fascist Appeaser” Carter and Bill “What an Example” Clinton continues in full force in America month after month.
“Coach Borden's attorneys vow to appeal the decision by these judicial dictators, including an appeal to the full 3rd circuit court, and they believe that the case will eventually end up before the United States Supreme Court. Coach Borden's school district had instituted the policy in October 2005 prohibiting any school representative from participating in student-initiated prayer.
“For 23 years, Coach Borden had led his football team in pre-game prayer until some atheist parents began complaining. Thankfully, the football team voted to continue their pre-game prayers. Coach Borden only wanted to bow his head and silently "take a knee' but the radical atheists would not even allow that and federal judge agreed he could do that, but the 3rd circuit court panel overruled that judge last week.”
These judges are domestic terrorists. Like the communist politburo, they dictate their own beliefs and carry out their own perverse agendas even they unconstitutionally act as lawmakers denying the rights of American citizens to exercise their faith. They cause great damage to the foundations upon which this country was built. Once the foundation goes the destruction or collapse of the country is inevitable.

“Wow, let’s hope the same thing happens here in November!”
“For the first time since World War II, the people of Italy did not elect a single Communist to Parliament during last week’s election.

I am sorry, but these two, Senators Barack Husein Obama and Hillary Diane Rodham-Clinton are extremists. They are socialists. They are radical leftists. They are supported by the most anti-American of all organisations and movements in America.
Unfortunately, Senator John Sidney "all for me and for amnesty" McCain III is not much better. He tends to side with the most radical of Senators such as Senator Edward "Tipsy Ted" Kennedy and social liberals such as Senator Joseph Lieberman. I do not trust any of the current crop of presidential candidates.
Indeed, it is a very sad day we live in when the likes of these three candidate end up as the "best" that this once great country offer its populace in this most important and powerful office in all the world.
For the past week I have been standing by my friend, John Freshwater, a public school teacher who has been ordered by the Mount Vernon City Schools to remove his own personal Bible from his desk.
Yesterday the school board switched tactics. Because the public uproar in support of Mr. Freshwater was so great they decided it was time to pull out the smoke and mirrors. They knew that they had made a huge overreach, so to cover their own rear-ends they decided to attack the credibility of Mr. Freshwater. It is a classic attempt to divide and conquer.
This press release was filled with a list of “allegations” against Mr. Freshwater and represents an attempt to publicly flog an honorable Christian man. Christian superintendent, Steve Short, ordered an inquisition and a babysitter for Mr. Freshwater in a lame attempt to make himself look honorable. We cannot allow the fog to hide the real issue.
There are forces at work who want to ban the Bible from public consumption.
My wife and I journeyed to the movies last weekend to view Ben Stein’s movie, EXPELLED. It is a must view for Christians. From their own mouths the atheists exposed their agenda…the removal of Christianity from the education of our children. We have turned the education of our children over to those who hate God and America is paying a heavy price for it.
The God-haters are playing for keeps and they don’t care who they harm.
In the Freshwater affair the school has released “allegations” that he “burned crosses” on the arms of children. They knew the incident was a science experiment that had nothing to do with his faith, but they chose to link it anyway. Listen here to a brief 3 minute interview I did with a radio station this morning. We are in a war.
Hopefully those of you who read this commentary are educated enough to know that the idea of separation of church and state as currently practiced in America looks nothing like what our Founders envisioned. That is the linchpin upon which all of the atheistic arguments hang. If we believe THAT lie all our positions become vacuous. Religious expression is free speech. No longer must we allow Christians and the Christian point of view to be relegated to second-class citizenship.
That is what the atheists have attempted to do. No, that is what they have done. If a view has any connection to Christian beliefs, or more specifically the Bible, then the view is disqualified because it is “religious” in nature. Atheism is “non-religious.” Humanism masquerades as “science.” Christian views are “religious.” The mythical separation between the church and state bans the religious point of view. Hence, Christianity is forever banished to the four walls of the church.
Christians are so ignorant. We should be the best informed, best educated of all American citizens. Instead of fighting for Truth we have swallowed the arguments of the Enemy. The battle over the Bible is just another example.
Steve Short, the superintendent of Mt. Vernon City Schools, is a Christian. I have known him for years. But he has fallen into the trap set by the secularists. He believes that his duty is to make sure that Christian values are not espoused in the classroom. In his recent statement he said “As a public school system,” Short said, we “cannot teach, promote or favor any religion or religious beliefs. Our obligation is not to endorse or establish any religion under the First Amendment, but we have an obligation to protect our students’ rights.”
Steve Short, a Christian man, has been secularized. He is doing the Devil’s bidding. He is staggeringly ignorant of history. Steve Short is the product of government schools. He is on the same team as the proud atheists in Ben Stein’s movie. He should be fighting for Truth. Instead, he is defending lies.
“But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.”
My heart is heavy today. I know Christians pray for their Christian leaders. We work to get them into office. Yet, the Christian world is still screaming for strong leadership.
Sadly, when they get into office we find out that they think like the Enemy. Richard Dawkins himself could not have done a better job of silencing the Word of God than our own Christian, Steve Short.
But the fight is not over.
Last Friday the students stood up for Jesus in the Mt. Vernon City Schools. In response to the attack upon Mr. Freshwater the students organized a “take your Bible to school” day. An estimated 750 junior and senior high students showed up to school with their Bibles in tow. They held a rally and collected over 1000 signatures declaring that the Bible should stay.
But the administration doesn’t care what the citizens say. They are choosing to follow an extra-Constitutional statement found nowhere in our founding documents. They are believing a lie, repeating a lie, and fighting for a lie.
Isn’t it ironic? Those in charge of educating our children are miseducated themselves. Sort of gives new meaning to the term the blind are leading the blind, don’t you think? Here is the bottom line, Church. Our kids are watching. They are watching to see if we really believe what we say about Jesus. They are watching to see if we will show the courage to stand-up for what we believe. They are watching to see if, at this critical time, we really believe that the Bible holds the answers to America’s problems.
They have taken their stand…what about you Mom and Dad….Pastor?
I support those who are fighting against the Day of Silence which is nothing more than a celebration of the homosexual agenda in the same schools where the Bible is not welcome. You see, homosexuality is free speech…Christianity is “religion.” (I wonder where Steve Short stands on this issue.)
But once again our plan of attack is a plan of retreat. Many are encouraging parents to keep their children home on April 25th in protest of the Day of Silence. I think we can do better.
Let’s turn April 25th into a “Take Your Bible to School” day all across this nation. “The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.” It is time for Christians everywhere to follow the lead of a brave science teacher in Ohio. Take your Bible to work. Put it on your desk. We can no longer allow them to silence the voice of Truth.
The only way the God-haters win is if the Christians refuse to fight.
They banned prayer from the school and the Church complied. They banned Bible-reading from the schools and the Church said “Amen.” They banned creationism from the schools and the Church supplied the finances. They banned Christmas Carols in our schools and the Church “followed the law.”
Open your eyes. Today they are trying to ban the Bible. How will the Church respond?
Our children are watching.

First of all Obama looked pathetic as Hillary caught him in lie about taxes. Both had claimed that they would let the Bush tax cuts expire but not raise taxes further on anyone making less than about $200,000/year. But Obama admitted that he would raise the cap on payroll taxes and raise capital gains taxes, which would affect a lot of people making less than $200,000.
Hillary also attacked Obama for being associated with that bomber guy. Obama replied that he was associated with someone who favors putting people to death for abortion, but no one would think to ascribe to him this person’s views. Now think about this. Obama distancing himself from someone who wants to get tough on murderers…to prove a point that his associating with a murderer doesn’t necessary mean that he is murder sympathizer! Amazing!
Then Hillary and Obama proceeded to discuss under what circumstances they would go to war with Iran. Using the same threatening language that Bush used to sell us on the war with Iraq, the art of playing on the fears of the American people is alive and well. Now, how, may I ask, are you going to pay for this war if you don’t raise taxes on more than just the rich? The answer is we go deeper into debt and/or the government prints more money which causes inflation, which is the equivalent of a tax raise across the board for everyone. Don’t believe that the Democrats aren’t just as much in bed with the Industrial War Complex (Haliburton, oil companies, etc.) than the Republicans? Click here. Both Hillary and Obama said that they would go to war with Iran if they attacked another country, even countries other than U.S. and Israel.
There is good reason not to trust Hillary that she would pull out of Iraq, since she voted for the war in Iraq in the beginning. If you live in West Virginia, Indiana, North Carolina, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kentucky, Oregon, Idaho, New Mexico, or South Dakota register as a Republican and vote for the only true peace candidate, Ron Paul!

The saga continues . . .
MOUNT VERNON, OHIO
For the past few days I have been following the John Freshwater story of possible religious discrimination and intolerance on the part of Mount Vernon (Ohio) Schools Administration and their Board of Education toward the middle school teacher and Christian. Below is the latest from MountVernonNews.com regarding John Freshwater, a middle school teacher supposedly in hot water for refusing to remove his personal Bible from the top of his classroom desk defying the order of the school principal.
Wednesday, April 23, 2008 – Investigation to begin into allegations against teacher – MountVernonNews.com reported that, “Mount Vernon City Schools Board of Education and administration decided to have an independent party investigate allegations made against eighth grade science teacher John Freshwater. . .
The newspaper’s website stated, “In a press release issued Tuesday afternoon, Superintendent Steve Short said, “The allegations against Mr. Freshwater are very serious. This is not about his personal Bible on his desktop. It is about the totality of his conduct.”
The article goes on to talk about a science class project which allegedly used an electrostatic process to “burn” crosses onto the arms of students. This incident happened in December of 2007, four month ago, no action had been taken regarding that incident up to this point. Another allegation was that Mr. Freshwater had the gall to explain the meaning of Good Friday and Easter. We would not want our student to have any real knowledge now would we? It is okay to talk about Kwanza and Ramadan but how dare you acknowledge the existence and reason for man’s only means of redemption!
MountVernonNew.com also reported, “While the independent investigation is being conducted, an administrator will be in the classroom with Freshwater, monitoring his activities to ensure board policy is followed and student’s rights are protected.” What about Mr. Freshwater’s rights? Must he abrogate those rights when he walks into the school? That is foolish and contrary to the original intent of our Founding Fathers. Does it not matter what they established? It worked for 200 some years.
I can’t help but think that America’s Founders if they returned to Mount Vernon in Ohio today would take up arms and declare a second revolutionary war on the government bureaucracy that has been overrun by elitists and socialists who have accomplished a bloodless coup and established a new tyranny far worse that that of the King of England in 1776! Where are the Patrick Henrys and Noah Websters and George Washingtons of our day? I find it somewhat ironic that this incident of suppressing religious freedom was occurring in a city whose namesake is George Washington’s famous home.
The MountVernonNews.com article concludes, “According to Freshwater’s personnel file, he had been cautioned on several occasions about adhering to the school district’s policy regarding religion in the classroom. Employee evaluation also state Freshwater has good rapport with students, good teaching skills and extensive knowledge of his subject matter.” The article fails to mention, however, that Mr. Freshwater was the Teacher of the Year in 2007 and one additional time in past years. Pretty seedy character if you ask me.
COLUMBUS, OHIO – THE WRONG SIDE
The following is an excerpt from today’s disgraceful Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch’s top editorial published today.
Wednesday, April 23, 2008 - The last straw – Mount Vernon’s teacher/s Bible was one in a long list of religious intrusions.
“ . . . (Freshwater) amplified his protest by calling in Dave Daubenmire, a former London High School football coach who, after resigning in 2000 amid controversy over his insistence on leading the team in pregame prayer, became well-known as a combative advocate for religion in public life. Daubenmire’s Pass the Salt Ministries and Minutemen United have turned up at scenes of religious controversy around the country, occluding Alabama (Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court) Judge Roy Moore’s unsuccessful fight to display a Ten Commandments monument at the state’s supreme court and the fight in Florida over ending the life of comatose Terri Schiavo.
“Daubenmire considers the concept of separation of Church and state - a core constitutional guarantee of religions freedom in the United States – invalid. Freshwater’s association with him is a strong indication that the teacher is as interested in picking a fight over religion as in teaching students about science . . .
“This is more than a Bible on the desk and calls into question Freshwater’s commitment to teaching science. Mount Vernon school officials are right to insist that he conduct himself as a science teacher, not as a religious provocateur.”
Would the dispatch use the same logic in the associations of one of their own liberal idols, Senator Barack Hussein Obama, and his association with racists and anti-semites Jeremiah Wright and Al Sharpton or domestic terrorist William Ayers or white color criminal Antoin "Tony" Rezko? I don’t think so.
The Dispatch is right, it is “This is more than a Bible on the desk,” it is about jumping on the side of the ACLU to suppress all godly influence in society. The media, including the liberal Columbus Dispatch is one the of those who want to remove all vestiges of God, morality, virtue and all decency from our society at the expense of society. Why? Perhaps the left wants to usher in a global socialism, fawned over by leftists worldwide. Even if is at the expense of American sovereignty and freedom.
COLUMBUS, OHIO – THE OTHER SIDE
Below is an email I received from Coach Dave Daubenmire, the “combative advocate for religion in public life.” Boy, that description by the editors of the Columbus Dispatch, really sounds sinister doesn’t it? Does someone who dares to work to preserve the values and principles of Christianity in this once Christian nation deserve to be ostracized, vilified and marginalized? That is what the liberal press seems to be doing to Coach Dave.
Wednesday, April 23, 2008 –- Coach Dave Daubenmire Calls for End to Inquisition of Teacher John Freshwater
“. . . Superintendent Stephen Short emphasized in a news release yesterday that the allegations involving Freshwater extend beyond that Bible.
"This is not about his personal Bible on his desktop," the release states. "It is alleged he used his classroom to advance religion … We have an obligation to protect our students' rights." Coach Dave Daubenmire disagrees with Short. Here is the Coach's statement:
“Mt. Vernon City Schools have chosen character assassination as their weapon of choice in the battle to force John Freshwater to remove a Bible from his desk. With complete disregard for his family or his reputation the attorneys for the school board leaked information to the press regarding a science experiment that Mr. Freshwater conducted in his classroom.
“To accuse Mr. Freshwater of "burning crosses" on the arms of students in attempt to make him appear to be a religious fanatic is a desperate and despicable act. They know John Freshwater and his character and they know that the incident in his science classroom had nothing to do with Christianity. Those responsible should be ashamed. Freshwater has never once violated the freedom of conscience of any of his students. As someone who has endured the wrath of this kind of inquisition, I'm proud to stand with John and his family as they endure this Christian flogging. We will not allow freedom to be expelled from Ohio's public school classrooms."”
I don’t think that we are getting the total story from the main stream media. Hopefully the truth will emerge and we will find Mr. Freshwater guilty only of being an excellent teacher and a God-honoring man. If that warrants termination, God help us all.
That is why all of our efforts are needed to elect strong conservative senators and representatives to the U.S. Congress in order to counter the insurgency that will emanate for the next four years from the White House if either major party, as presently represented, captures the power of the Presidency.
Tuesday, April 22, 2008
(MOUNT VERNON, OHIO) Mount Vernon public school teacher John Freshwater was recently told by his middle school principal to remove the 10 commandments display from his collage of historic documents displayed on windows in his classroom. He was also told to hide his bible from his students. For the past 20 years he has had his personal bible visible on his desk.
Here is a chronology of the John Freshwater story as reported on WorldNetDaily (First article) and the MountVernonNew.com (All other articles):
Wednesday, April 16, 2008 - Teacher keeps Bible, cites God-given rights Principal ordered Good Book hidden from students – Here is the original story published on WorldNetDaily that outlines the story.
Thursday, April 17, 2008 - Wednesday afternoon rally in support of teacher – Over 100 student, parents and community members rallied on behalf of Mr. Freshwater.
Saturday, April 19, 2008 - Students rally in support of science teacher – the good guys - High school and middle school students, parents and community members signed petitions supporting Mr. Freshwater.
Saturday, 4/19/08 - ACLU supports MV school board decision – the bad guys - Right here you know the man is on the right side of the law. 90% of the time the anti-American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is involved it is destructive in nature . . .
Monday, 4/20/08 – After reading the above stories on WorldNetDaily and MountVernonNews.com, and listening to a couple of Columbus area radio talk shows, I concluded that Mr. Freshwater’s rights were being violated and sent the following email to the members of the Mount Vernon Board of Education on his behalf:
Dear Mount Vernon School Board Members:
This is an email in support of Mr. John Freshwater’s constitutional right to freely express his faith by having his personal bible on his desk. To prohibit him from doing so would infringe on his rights as a citizen. This is not Communist Red China, where bibles are confiscated routinely and where religion is oppressed. This country, America, contrary to those who want to revise our American history was founded by Christians who read their bibles and acted upon its teachings and principles. In fact, our founding fathers honored God and His Word as opposed to expelling Him and His Word, which our courts have wrongly done in recent times.
Surely it is time to draw the line on the widespread anti-Christian, anti-American bigotry and sentiment and to return to the principles and values of our founders. The Mount Vernon area is strongly conservative and there is an overwhelming Christian element and influence. Please take a stand and ask Mr. Stephen Short to withdraw his demand that Mr. John Freshwater remove his personal bible from the top of his desk.
Personally, I see nothing wrong with having the 10 Commandments posted with other key historic documents, which Mr. Short also demanded that Mr. Freshwater remove. After all, much of our law was based on the principles outlined in that important guideline.
I would be willing to provide the Mount Vernon School Board with financial support of at least $____ if you were sued by the American Civil Liberties Union, the National Education Association or any other despotic organization as a result of your action to exonerate Mr. Freshwater and to allow him the freedom to exercise his faith by retaining his personal bible on top of his desk.
It is truly shameful that things have gotten to this point that we even have to have this communication isn’t it? Unfortunately, there are forces in our society that are working to destroy America. Please, I urge you to do what is right.
However, the MountVernonNews.com reported that, “In a press release issued Tuesday afternoon, Superintendent Steve Short said, “The allegations against Mr. Freshwater are very serious. This is not about his personal Bible on his desktop. It is about the totality of his conduct.” . . .
The article goes on to describe a couple of allegations against Mr. Freshwater that were not brought out last week.
It is interesting that MountVernonNews.com relates, “While the independent investigation is being conducted, an administrator will be in the classroom with Freshwater, monitoring his activities to ensure board policy is followed and students’ rights are protected.” Did he rape a student? Did he strike a student? No, he may have participated in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) meeting instead of merely “monitoring” the activity. The man may even have had the audacity to pray with the children in that FCA meeting! For shame, how dare he “violate” the students rights and dare exercise his faith!
The MountVernonNews.com article adds, ““As a public school system,” Short said, we “cannot teach, promote or favor any religion or religious beliefs. Our obligation is not to endorse or establish any religion under the First Amendment, but we have an obligation to protect our students’ rights. We are hoping that an independent investigation will get to the truth of the allegations so we can make appropriate decisions as to what should be done going forward.””
So now our school administrators and school boards must protect our children from being exposed not to pedophiles, not to rapists, not to child molesters, not to drug addicts and dealers, not to homosexuals and abortion providers, not to communist subversives, but to God? This is pure insanity and must come to an end starting now - here is the line in the sand. This is un-American! Since when has God become Public Enemy No. 1 in America?
“At a campaign stop in Indiana last week, Hillary Clinton drank a shot and a beer at a local restaurant.
“Well, that is one way to win back Ted Kennedy.”
- - - NewsBusted, Episode 159
Hillary Rodham-Clinton becomes whatever the crowd she is with expects of her and whatever would garner her another vote or another dollar. She is a fine actress. When in a black church she is everyones "sister". When she is among homosexuals and lesbians such as speaking at the Human Rights Campaign annual meeting, she is one with them promising them White House access.
Just a good ole country gal that Hillary with mucho dinero in the bank . . . Actually she has no credibility in my eyes. She only desires power. She will do or say anything to accomplish that desire or goal.

I read somewhere today where all funds to the Jimmy Carter Center, whatever that is, should immediately be cutoff. This man is a loose cannon. He is serving the terrorists. You cannot negotiate with terrorists, Mr. President. You of all people (Iran) should know that. Your behavior and actions are plainly disgraceful. Please go back to building Habitat for Humanity houses instead of tearing down this nation!
Carter typifies the Democrat Party leader's mentality today. This is reason enough not to vote for either Senators Hillary Diane Rodham-Clinton or Barack Hussein Obama in November, or ever.
“…Ben Stein's extraordinary presentation documents how the worlds of science and academia not only crush debate on the origins of life, but also crush the careers of professors who dare to question the Darwinian hypothesis of evolution and natural selection. . . .
“It's understood that God had nothing to do with the origins of life on Earth. What, then, is the alternate explanation? Stein asks these experts, and their very serious answers are priceless.
>>> One theorizes that life began somehow ON THE BACKS OF CRYSTALS.
>>> Another states electric sparks FROM A LIGHTNING STORM CREATED ORGANIC MATTER (out of nothing).
>>> Another declares that life was BROUGHT TO EARTH BY ALIENS. Anything but God. . .

Apparently Carmike has a number of theaters across the country. This false environmenalism exposes thousands of people to lies. Warning: Don't come too early to any movie you want to see at a Carmike Cinema, otherwise you will be subject to intense subversive advertisement.
Carmike Cinemas is a premier motion picture exhibitor, operating 2,229 screens in 291 theatres in 36 states. Carmike targets small to mid-sized communities with populations ranging from 50,000 to 250,000 where the company is the sole exhibitor for those markets. Carmike is the "hometown hero" for moviegoers across America.
Carbon was portrayed as black and ugly; black balloons, black smoke, and elephants. While coal, coke, and graphite is black remember that a diamond is 100% carbon and not black. The reference is to carbon, when what they are attacking is carbon dioxide. In its solid state as dry ice it is white and gives off a white vapor. When dissipated into the air and at room temperature it is clear. Carbon dioxide is not what it was portrayed to be.
In one of the Go Green infomercials we are shown black balloons rising into the air. Computer graphics can make anything appear to rise but carbon dioxide in a balloon will not rise into the air. It is heavier than air. Black smoke from stacks comes from particulates rising. Carbon dioxide is a gas and not a particulate. The smoke stacks I have observed in the USA produce white water vapor. Elephants falling on cars are likened to carbon dioxide. An elephant is not a gas and carbon dioxide is not a white elephant; it does not smash cars. In this carbon dioxide is shown as both lighter than air and heavier than air. The MacArthur Foundation, which paid for these ads lacks good judgment.
An alternative source of energy was recommended and windmills were shown as a possible solution. Windmills can only produce a small fraction of the energy required for the American society to function. The electrical energy producing stations must rely on only a few sources; hydroelectric, gas, oil, coal, and nuclear energy and perhaps geothermal. Energy options are few.
Carbon dioxide does not retain heat in the atmosphere. In a greenhouse the glass pane allows heat to go through it. Water vapor condenses on the pane and reflects heat back into the greenhouse. You may notice the weather reporter on the news say that the overnight temperature will be warmer due to a cloud cover. There is a difference in temperature at night depending on having clear skies or cloud cover. Each night the earth radiates back into space the same amount of radiation it received from the sun the day before.
Talk is made of saving the planet. This is nonsense. The earth does not need to be saved. It will be destroyed when God is ready. It is people who need saving. You and everyone else will exist forever with God, happy, or in the Lake of Fire, tormented. If you like you can read about it for yourself in Revelation 20:15 and 21:1.
To escape the Lake of Fire you need to receive Jesus into your heart. If you like you can pray, “Lord Jesus Christ forgive me of my sin and come into my heart.”
