Organizing for Obama or for God?

The President’s on-going campaign (Organizing for America) organization’s most recent fund-raising email opened with this sentence, “The path this country takes after November 2nd will be determined by what we do over the next 22 days. For once, the President speaks the truth. Although he meant that statement to mean his desire is to keep America on the path to destruction through his unwise and dangerous economic, social, and foreign policies. The truth is that this upcoming election will either repudiate this controversial and increasingly unpopular President or it will give him license to continue the mayhem he and his policies are causing the United States.

We must halt the unbridled, unbudgeted, unaccountable spending.

We must cap the taxes burdening the people and job-providers.

We must secure our borders.

We must protect life from the womb to the tomb.

We must permit parental choice in the education of their children, parents and not the federal government who know what is best for their children.

We must start educating and stop promoting homosexuality in our public schools.

We must repeal or at least not fund ObamaCare and truly reform our healthcare system.

We must develop all of our natural resources including nuclear, coals and oil.

We must stop appeasing and encouraging Islam and Islamic extremists, be they nations, terrorist organizations, or radical Imams preaching jihad in American mosques.

We must focus on creating an economic environment that creates jobs, not destroying jobs.

The President’s path is the direct opposite of all of the statements above. If we allow the President through a radical liberal led Congress to continue to incrementally tear apart the very fabric and foundation of this nation – free-enterprise, morality, marriage, et al - we will continue on a path that will ultimately lead us to destruction, not to the fantastic utopian Nirvana dreams of Barry Soetoro a/k/a Barack Obama or his father …

The more conservatives elected this fall, the greater the chance in turning this nation around. However, electing the right officials is just one of many steps. We must as individuals and as a nation come to terms with our relationship to God. We must recognize and repent from the evil we have permitted to reside in our lives and in our country and turn to what God requires through His Biblical mandates. What are these mandates? The first and foremost is to love God and the second is to love our neighbor as ourselves. Upon these two principles, guidelines, or instructions rests the entire law of God.
