American Right to Life
COLORADO - A group of pro-life individuals and organizations met in Colorado recently and formed a new pro-life organization. The founders of the new group were outraged by the compromise seen in the National Right to Life (NRTL) organization, perceiving that the NRTL is too strongly aligned and even controlled by an increasingly unprincipled Republican Party, and by NRTL’s recent endorsement of Fred Thompson for president. Senator Thompson is not the strongest pro-life candidate running in the race; for one thing he does not favor a federal Life at Conception Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. I, for one wish this group great success.

Thank you, Greg!
ReplyDeleteI'm a friend of American Right to Life, and am hoping they can replace National Right to Life (which some founders of American Right to Life helped found, many years ago!) as the leading national voice for life (not that NRTL has held that position in some time).
If you didn't already know, both Colorado Right to Life and Operation Save America (formerly the famed Operation Rescue) are part of American Right to Life -- OSA has the announcement on its website: www.operationsaveamerica.org
Looking forward to great stuff from this group!
Bob
Thanks Bob for your comment -
ReplyDeleteI heard about ARTL on the American View Radio Show with John Lofton (Internet)... http://www.theamericanview.com/index.php?id=951
I heard an interview with Brian Rohrback of Colorado Right to Life and he has a very strong pro-life position. I did not know that OSA became part of the new group. Thanks for the information.
God bless you.
Please stay in touch.
