Last month, the Congress passed the Free Flow of Information Act. As far I know it hasn't passed the Senate or been signed by the President. This act would give journalists special protections under to be immune from prosecution and having to testify about knowledge of criminal activity. This is sick! Why should journalists get special rights to protect criminals from prosecution? I can't believe this passed 398-21! What is wrong these idiots! They are even talking about including bloggers as amateur journalists under the law. Judges could interpret the law this way. Then all you would have to do is have a computer and you would never be compelled to testify about anything in court ever!
