If McCain is the GOP Presidential Nominee, What Do We Do?

I participate from time to time on various Internet forums. On one forum there was a back and forth on whether a true conservative should vote for the lesser of two evils and vote for a McCain, who is not a conservative.

Three Questions

"How do we keep McCain, Obama and Rodham-Clinton from winning the Presidency?

We can keep them out of office by withholding the nomination from McCain in the remaining primaries and caucuses . . . just like Huckabee did in Kansas and Louisiana.

Why not get behind the front-runner McCain since there is so little time and no strong alternative? Wouldn’t it be better to support any Republican who gets the nomination rather than a leftist socialist Democrat?

Because doing so compromises the GOP conservative platform. That platform has served the GOP well since Ronald Reagan was in office. It reflects strong conservative principles. Because we must not see a repeat of 2006 or the Bush bait-and-switch - he fooled me twice. McVain does not excite the conservative base. He is anti-conservative for the most part.

Is Senator John McCain more repulsive as President than either of the tow Democrats Obama or Rodham-Clinton would be?

Yes, yes he is because he disguises his liberal/socialist views to get elected. In many ways he would act just like a liberal Democrat once in office.

Let's hope that McPain falls short of obtaining needed delegates for the nomination going into the convention. Then there is hope that a real true conservative will emerge to bring the party back to its senses.

If McCain does get the nomination I, for one, will not vote for him. Neither will I vote for the Democrat candidate this year. I will put all my support into getting true conservatives elected to Congress to counteract the destructive work if any of those three get elected.

See Ann Coulter's speech on video at CPAC on
