Huckabee Wins Kansas Caucuses

I saw on AOL News that the Associated Press reported minutes ago that Governor Mike Huckabee "trounced" John 'Amnesty' McCain in Kansas' caucuses today, which was their first head-to-head contest AP said that Huckabee told fellow conservatives he was in the Republican presidential race to stay. I hope he means it.

"I didn't major in math," Huckabee told a cheering crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference. "I majored in miracles, and I still believe in them," said the Baptist minister-turned-politician.

In the first primary or caucus since Super Tuesday, Governor Mike Huckabee wins a non-Southern state, Kansas. This may be significant.

Consdervative talk show host Rush Limbaugh on Friday pointed out that the main stream media has already begun to plant the seed of doubt in he minds of voters carrying a few negative stories about the real McCain record. Maybe their strategy may have begun a little too soon. Maybe Huckabee has at least a chance to tie up the coronation of the 'king' until the GOP convention, where anything can happen.

Huckabee's comment "I didn't major in math" makes me chuckle. This is coming from someone who thinks that the federal gov't should give public schools incentives to teach more music classes because he thinks that will help students learn math better!
