Voters Guide on Senator John “Amnesty” McCain

Why No Conservative Should Vote for Senator John McCain

A Primary election is being held tomorrow (Saturday, 2/02/2008) in Louisiana, as well as an open caucus will be held the same day in the state of Washington.

Three important issues facing America today are protecting human life, protecting our borders and protecting private property. The following are responses found on these three issues in the Values Voter Guide for 2008 Presidential Candidates put out by FRC Action.

Bioethics/Stem Cells & Embryos - In light of the recent scientific discoveries regarding skin cells would support/oppose continuing federal funding of destructive embryonic stem cell research?
GOP Candidates:
Mike Huckabee – OPPOSE
John McCain – SUPPORT
Ron Paul – NO ANSWER
Democrat Candidates:
Hillary Rodham-Clinton – SUPPORT
Barack Obama – NO ANSWER

Illegal Immigration - Do you support or oppose legislative initiatives that emphasize border security over all other forms of immigration reform?
GOP Candidates:
Mike Huckabee – SUPPORT
John McCain – OPPOSE
Ron Paul – SUPPORT
Democrat Candidates:
Hillary Rodham-Clinton – OPPOSE
Barack Obama – OPPOSE

Private Property Rights - Do you support or oppose federal legislation limiting the ability of government to take private land for private development purposes?
GOP Candidates:
Mike Huckabee – NO ANSWER
John McCain – NO ANSWER
Ron Paul – SUPPORT
Democrat Candidates:
Hillary Rodham-Clinton – NO ANSWER
Barack Obama – NO ANSWER

SUMMARY


Only Huckabee and Paul answered correctly on more than 1 of the 3 important issues. McCain and the two Democrats whiffed, 0 for 3.

    Ron Paul has said that he opposes Federal funding for embryonic stem cell research. I heard it on the Google interview.
