StopSebelius: She’s Anti-Woman & Pro-Death

Hear Their Cry
.
. . . Not according to Governor Sebelius You're Not!

Sebelius is Pro-Death All the Way

I received an action alert from the Alliance Defense Fund (ADF). They provided additional information regarding the qualifications of Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius, who was nominated to be the position of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary . I have written previously regarding this radically Pro-Death proponent and would be HHS Secretary.

The ADF calls her “one of the most divisive elected officials in the United States.” In her role as HHS Secretary, to which the alleged President Barry Soetoro (a/k/a Barack Hussein Obama) nominated her, she would not only be overseeing an annual budget of $821 billion that affects every Americans' health, Sebelius will also have major responsibility for guiding the creation of administration's health care plan.

ADF provides some examples where in her current position as Governor Sebelius repeatedly failed Kansas women and families when she opposed good health policies:

*** In 2003 and 2005, she vetoed bills that would have guaranteed the safety of abortion centers in Kansas, which were operating under medically dangerous conditions;

*** In 2008 she vetoed a measure to enforce the state's parental notice law so that parents' could be assured an abortion would not be performed on their minor daughter without their knowledge;

*** Even more shocking, she recently vetoed a bill that would have required those doing late-term abortions to provide an explicit medical reason;

*** She likewise vetoed another bill that would have required those doing post-viability (that is, after the point when the child is developed enough to breathe on its own outside the womb) abortions to report the diagnosis that led to the abortion.

Most egregiously, Sebelius took massive political donations from a notorious late-term abortionist, Dr. George ‘Killer’ Tiller, and used the Governor's Mansion to entertain this man and other Pro-Death supporters.

TAKE ACTION

Please contact your two U.S. senators and let them know that women and all families deserve a better choice for Secretary of Health and Human Services. This nomination is moving quickly, so please -- act now. Also, please forward this article and information to your friends and family members.
