What is Truth?




“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Truth is independent of any individual’s belief or opinion. People either believe truth or they believe non-truth. Life is based on truth. Individual freedom and liberty, society’s freedom and liberty, and national freedom and liberty is based on truth. As Jesus said, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.”

In order for an argument to be logical, it must be based on truth. The preeminent truth in life is this, ‘God exists, and He is self-existent.’ Any person, society, or nation who does not have this as the basis of their thinking is illogical. Additionally, God is triune, meaning He is three unique persons in one essence and one spirit.

A second basic truth is this: ‘God created.’ An advertising sign I once saw read, “Don’t leave excellence to chance.” When our nation’s Founding Fathers observed nature, they saw that it was excellent. Nature is not by chance, it was created. To think otherwise is illogical. Our Founders wrote that this is self-evident. Is it self-evident to you?

The Precious rights of the people were provided by the Creator, and not by chance or by some self-professed ‘benevolent’ government entity. To argue that life resulted by chance is to deprive people of liberty and God-given rights. Thus, the concept of evolution opposes the very nature of American independence and liberty. Teaching evolution works toward enslaving society and preventing its people from thinking logically.

Those early representatives of the United States of America appealed to the Supreme Judge of the world, who is the Lord Jesus Christ, for the moral integrity of declaring independence from Great Britain.

“And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance of the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.”

The signors of the Declaration of Independence relied on the Creator, Jesus Christ, for the United States of America to become an independent and sovereign nation and to maintain its Sovereignty.

To reject Jesus Christ and obedience to Him is to reject the very foundation upon which our nation was conceived and built. That is the reason why the current president and his supporters have been able to dismantle a once God-fearing and God-respecting nation. He continues to move it in the direction of a God-rejecting nation. This will just assure us of our eventual demise.
