On the Lighter Side
I found this gem on the NewsBusters.org website Saturday night. It is a YouTube video titled, “Best Bob Hope movie line.” The movie clip is from The Ghost Breakers (1940). This is really funny, yet as true in 2008 as it was in 60 years ago, if not more so.
Partial Transcript:
Larry Lawrence (Played by Bob Hope): “. . .Maybe you know what a Zombie is?”
Geoff Montgomer (Played by Richard Carlson): “. . . A zombie has no will of his own. You see them sometimes walking around blindly with dead eyes, following orders, not knowing what they do, not caring.”
Larry Lawrence: “You mean like Democrats?”
