Explaining Qualitative Easing

Hat tip goes to http://twitter.com/#!/First_Patriots where I first saw the link to the informative animated video below. This is a good explanation of what the Federal Reserve’s policy of qualitative easing is, which simple speaking is printing money. This YouTube video has had almost 4 million views. The video discusses Federal Reserve Bank, Ben Bernanke, Federal Reserve Chairman, Goldman Sachs, and the United States Treasury and their interrelationships.

When the 112th Congress commences next week high on its agenda should be an audit of the Federal Reserve. Congressman Ron Paul was recently appointed Chairman of the Domestic Monetary Policy Subcommitte of the U.S. House of Representatives' Financial Services Committee.

If anyone can expose the wrongdoing and corruption of that unaccountable entity (the Federal Reserve Bank) Rep. Paul can and will. His subcommittee  has jurisdiction over monetary policy, currency, commodity prices, and matters related to the Federal Reserve Bank generally.
