America is right in the middle of the price list. More and more, oil will be used as a weapon of mass persuasion, a weapon to spread Islam along with terrorism. In other words, oil is being used to fuel terrorism. The next president must address both energy independence and alternative fuels including nuclear as a major component in the war on terror.
We must elect a president who understands the situation in the world today and who would be willing to confront both our enemies abroad such as Saudi Arabia, which fund terrorist activity, as well as our domestic enemies, the radical environmentalists and their congressional allies, who put roadblocks and stage legal terrorism on every road leading toward our energy independence.

I think you should re-examine your premise here. You may be right but have you taken account of the fact that in most countries the price of petrol an the pump is loaded with taxes and levies. For example, in Britain, as much as 70 per cent of the pump price of gasoline is actually taxes and levies paid, not to the oil companies, but to the Government. In most former British colonies taxes make up at least a quarter of the pump price and sometimes more.
