San Diego Love

James Hartline, the man in the middle

Yesterday we wrote about the homosexual advocates’ disdain of Biblical truth, principles, and Christianity. Today we will discuss the transforming power of the Christ and His Word, the Bible, in the life of a man who lived the homosexual lifestyle for almost 30 years.

On Sunday I attended a church service, where I heard this man speak of the power of God to impact a life. God took this former homosexual (yes that is what I said), this ex-con, and this ex-drug addict and made him into a godly advocate for traditional family values, and morality in a God-forsaken San Diego (California) neighborhood. God has given this man a great love for persons trapped in the homosexuality lifestyle. Despite the persecution and hatred that he faces in the homosexual neighborhood, where he lives and serves, he is fulfilling a mission to love his neighbor.

He contends that the homosexual and the lesbian have been seduced and sidetracked by Satan, deceived and thwarted from fulfilling their true life purpose – to use their talents serving God and serving His church, which is also referred to in the Bible as the Bride of Christ. Why else are some of the most talented artists, musicians, dancers, etc. drawn into this “alternate” (that is, alternate to God’s acceptable standard) lifestyle?

James Hartline sees a revival coming out the same-sex community, which will spread across America. He sees these same-sex people turning to Christ, rejecting Satan and the deviant lifestyle they are living, and being great assets to Christ’s Church using their talents for good and not for evil. What a message of real hope and change! This contrasts with the false rhetoric of hope and change offered by one of our major candidates for president.

See a video of Mr. Hartline of his appearance on the 700 Club, which gives you a glimpse of the man better than many more words could.
