Last week I wrote two articles, (1) "McDonald's: "We're Lovin' Homosexuality"" and (2) "A Call to Boycott Mickey D’s" regarding the American Family Association's (AFA) call to boycott McDonald's hamburger joints. Clearly, I gladly join the boycott. To be fair and balanced I forced myself to read an article by a pro-homosexual journalist with a San Francisco newspaper. It was a chore, but I got through it. To a certain extent the writer has the bite of Ann Coulter, but from the opposite end of the political spectrum.
.
That commercial of old (not sure if they still use it, I don't watch much TV anymore) for Rice-a-Roni, "the San Francisco Treat" . . . was the inspiration for the title of this article. No, the article is not about rice, Condoleezza, brown, white or otherwise. It is about on San Francisco writer's response to the call of one pro-family activist organization to boycott McDonald's.
You would expect an article condemning the boycott of McDonald's, which was called for by the American Family Association for McDonald's support of homosexuality and the homosexual agenda, from the liberal San Francisco Chronicle newspaper. After all, San francisco is a haven for homosexuals. However, the depth of the vitriol in the article I read this morning by Mark Morford entitled, "Totally (Homosexual) Happy Meals, It is the end of the nutball Christian right. Here is your proof. To go," was just amazing. I was appalled at the depth of contempt that these homosexual advocates have for God, Christians, Christianity and Biblical principles. After reading the article I commented to the SF newspaper on that column as follows:
Hey Mark (the article's author),
You sound consumed by the very hateful bigotry that you condemn. I read your column and in it you eloquently enunciated your clear contempt for all things Christian, calling us among other things:
· A cultural pothole
· A nasty rash in the armpit of culture
· virulent, spittle-flecked gaggle of mental throwbacks
· Troglodytic knuckle-draggers with the sociosexual awareness of a fungal spore
· Silly inbreds
· Nutballs
How tolerant you are to those who disagree with you.
If the American Family Association and Don Wildmon is homophobic, then you qualify as being a maddened Christophobic. You and your leftist liberal self-indulgent God-haters are the antithesis of true American values. You along with the British would have been our Founding Fathers enemies in 1776 as you are America’s domestic terrorists today. You and the homosexual activist community represent at its essence the glorification of depravity in America. Same-sex “marriage” is the capstone “achievement” of this glorious movement. That "victory" is transient.
TAKE ACTION
Californians vote for Proposition 8 in November! Everyone else visit http://www.BoycottMcDonalds.com/ and sign the petition. Above all stop shopping at the dispenser of junk food until they stop their outlandish support of the homosexual agenda.
POSTSCRIPT
Not surprisingly my comments were removed from the comments section of the above quoted San Francisco Chronicle. I guess SF is a strong homosexual outpost and they will not tolerate any other opinion. What I said was much less intense than what the author of the article spewed forth about Christians who hold an alternate belief about homosexuality . . .
Your comment only makes sense if you believe that Don Wildmon actually speaks for God.
ReplyDeleteI don't particularly think hucksters like the Wildmons speak for all Christians.
