The Mosque that Mocks America

President Endorses Ground Zero Mosque in no Uncertain Terms
.

Hat tip to Crane Durham and his Nothing But Truth Blog where I obtained the video referred to in this post. Make no mistake, the mastermind(s) behind the Ground Zero Mosque have one purpose for building their 13 story mega monstrosity at ground-zero - to insult America and to gain a foothold here and abroad to honor their 'conquest' of the Great Satan on her own soil. Unfortunately, the President is the great facilitator of this shameful destruction project. See him deliver these damning words. Below the video are the President's words in bold. My comments are in italics within the brackets.

“… Let me be clear [As clear as the gulf waters at the peak of the BP oil spill?] as a citizen [Are you, Mr. President, really a natural-born citizen? That still is a question that needs to be settled] and as President [thanks to your lies and deceit and the able work of ACORN], I believe that Muslims [As you once said “My Muslim faith.”] have the right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country [And who says that they don’t? Are you insinuating that the people who disagree with placing the unholy Mosque of Desecration at Ground Zero are religious bigots? That is what you seem to imply.] and that includes the right to build a place of worship [religious and political and military system. That is Islam. It cloaks and promotes itself as a religion of peace, but it is not primarily a religion it is a tyrannical hateful philosophy and perverse worldview.] in a community center on private property in Lower Manhattan in accordance with local laws and ordinances [despite its offensive mocking symbol of Islamic accomplishment of humbling the Great Satan in the very heart of its commerce.]

“This is America [something you often forget or have such a warped view of that I dare say the Founders would not recognize your vision of America, that socialist, subservient, Marxist utopia] and our commitment to religious freedom [other than biblical Christianity practiced by the very Founders you insult by being part of the progressive elite who try to expunge God and the followers of Jesus Christ from all aspects of education, the public square and society in general] must be unshakable [again except for biblical Christianity] must be unshakable [It is you and your ilk are doing all the shaking of our foundations, Mr. President!].

“The principle that people of all faiths [Again, with the specific exception of biblical Christians and biblical Christianity. Didn’t you recently tell an Islamic audience while traveling in Turkey that America was not a Christian nation? And that, instead, we had a large Muslim population?] are welcome in this country, and that they will not be treated differently by their government is essential to who we are. The writ of the Founders must endure [As opposed to your teleprompted script].”

Essentially President Soetoro alias Obama figuratively slapped all Americans in the face with his endorsement and blessing of the Ground-Zero Mosque. This brief video taken at the Ramadan supper with fellow Muslims is evidence of his priorities and his allegiance. It should wake up all Americans to say enough is enough come November.

Remember in November the President and his party’s disdain for America and upon the Christian principles on which it was founded.

  1. What? Are you suggesting that people who object to a religious center being erected in New York city for no other reason than the fact that it happens to be established by people who are a different faith than they are -- that these people are somehow religious bigots?!

How could you come up with such an idea? Perish the thought!

I'm sure there's some other, perfectly logical, rational explanation -- besides religious bigotry -- for why they would hold all Muslims collectively guilty for the acts of 19 terrorists, and seek to throw away our Constitution and our basic American values...

I'll think of it in just a minute...

  2. Thanks, kwix for your komment -

The leader of the people "who are a different faith" and who want to build a mega mosque in sight of the former Twin Towers is insensitive and offends the memory of those slain by ISLAMIC terrorists!

The so-called faith of Islam is much more. It is a military, political and religious system. It is anti-everything. Islam means subjugation. It is intolerant of Christians, Jews and every other faith or religion. Did you know that in many Muslim countries to convert to Christianity or any other religion means that you will literally lose your head?

The Ground Zero or Hamasque is merely a monument meant to taunt and to mock America! It celebrates Islam's victory over bringing down one of the icons of the Great Satan.

There are 20 mosques already located in Manhattan. Why do does the immoderate Imam in charge stubbornly wants to erect a temple of intolerance and hate near the site of ISLAMIC terror? It would be a symbol of ISLAMIC victory over America - and it is even called the Cordoba Project -

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Park51

“Cordoba House” is a deliberately insulting term. It refers to Cordoba, Spain–the capital of Muslim conquerors, who symbolized their victory over the Christian Spaniards by transforming a church there into the world’s third-largest mosque complex... every Islamist in the world recognizes Cordoba as a symbol of Islamic conquest."

    How soon we forget.

kwix, don't make out the Muslims to be the victims. The real victims are the 3000+ who died at the hands of ISLAMIC terrorists on 9/11/2001.

    How soon we forget.

Ah, the dreaded exclamation mark. I see: if you don't have a point to make, shout louder than the other guy.

You've really not made any actual point; you've just expressed some feelings. And I'm sorry but government policy shouldn't be based on feelings. It's really not the business of government to "not offend" people. I'm offended by a lot of stuff, but I don't require the world bow down before my particular concerns.

"The Ground Zero or Hamasque is merely a monument meant to taunt and to mock America! It celebrates Islam's victory over bringing down one of the icons of the Great Satan."

Umm... And the reason you ASSUME such a thing is...?

You have reasons, right? Because that's certainly not what anyone ACTUALLY connected with this mosque has been saying. You'd have to have pretty strong actual evidence of this to make such a claim -- not just paranoia and bias and conjecture.

Plus your claim is especially odd in light of the fact that, in reality, nothing would tick off the jihadis much more than if we live up to our traditionally tolerant American values. In reality, they'd LOVE for us to be more intolerant, just like them. That would just reinforce and justify their whole Us vs. Them worldview, wouldn't it?

But clearly have some secret evidence for your claim you are not sharing with us, because you'd have to have pretty strong actual evidence of this to make such a claim -- not just paranoia and bias and conjecture.

    You have that, right?

    Oh.

And you might want to learn some history. I mean real history, like you can get from history professors and such -- not that pre-packaged biased stuff you get spoonfed from anti-Muslim sites.

If you know anything at all about history, you know that for centuries, Cordoba and the Al-Andalus have been associated NOT with conservative Islam but with the height of cosmopolitan, multi-cultural civilization. (Indeed, the Second Calif was openly gay!)

Indeed, it was these very Andalusian Muslims in Cordoba, in who basically saved Plato, Aristotle and most of the Greek texts and civilization we know today; they were unknown and unappreciated in Europe.

It was these Andalusian Muslims who helped develop science and celestial navigation. They also set up far-flung trading networks and advanced cities.

And many historians consider them to be a remarkably tolerant people, who treated the Christians and Jews in their kingdoms with a good degree of respect (although this was not true for all rulers at all times, by any means). Indeed, the period when Muslims ruled Iberia is known as the Golden Age of JEWISH Life and Culture, because Jews flourished there -- represented over 5% of the population.

Guess what happened when the "Christians" Ferdinand and Isabella took over a few years later? That's right: they killed or discomfitted all the Jews who wouldn't convert. Golden Age over!

So what Cordoba is NORMALLY known for, at least among ACTUAL historians, has much more to do with a highly civilized, multi-cultural, scientifically advanced, perhaps even tolerant (more tolerant than those around them) peak of civilization while Europe was in the dark ages.

Funny how you didn't know these very basic facts -- which are common knowledge for any educated person. That's because you're not getting your history from actual historians, but from
the warped, biased prepackaged stuff you copied in your message.

I personally would never trust material I was spoonfed from just one, extreme, biased side. I try to truly educate myself, not just find stuff that confirms my own worldview.

  6. @ Matt -- great link, Matt, thanks. I think Paul takes a very principled, sensible, rational position -- as he usually does.
