The film is witty and a spoof on terrorists, liberals, and socialism. It stars a Michael Moore look-alike and a General George Patton look-alike. Humorous antics are drawn from past shows like Abbott & Costello and the three stooges with the three stooges being terrorists.
The film is a rewrite of A Christmas Carol where Scrooge wants to abolish Christmas and is visited by three ghosts. Michael Malone, a liberal patriot, wants to ban the Fourth of July. His nephew is in the Navy and visits Michael in uniform while preparing for a ban the Fourth of July rally. The ghosts are John Kennedy, George Patton, George Washington, and a country western singer as the Angel of Death.
Rosie O’Donnell’s line “Christians are as bad as terrorists” is used in the film with great effect.
‘Excellence in health care’ is displayed as Michael Malone visits Cuba and its socialistic universal health care system. A riot brakes out when he leaves to go to America. Such excellence in care can be ours when the government takes over the health care system in America.
The music of the country western artist Trace Adkins is very uplifting.
