Isn't it ironic, when we are facing a great energy crisis the Congress does nothing. But when the bankers cry help it is a real crisis and action must be taken. Something is wrong with this picture.

I liken the Bailout Bill to being as much of a travesty like the Amnesty Bill. Here is the final roll call of the U.S. Senators and Representatives on the Bailout Bill in their respective chambers:

U.S. Representatives - Kaptur, N; Kucinich, N; Ryan, Y; Space, Y; Sutton, Y; Wilson, Y. – comes up for re-election in November 2008

Republicans —

U.S. Senator – George Vionovich, Y - comes up for re-election in 2010

U.S. Representatives - Boehner, Y; Chabot, N; Hobson, Y; Jordan, N; LaTourette, N; Latta, N; Pryce, Y; Regula, Y; Schmidt, Y; Tiberi, Y; Turner, N. – comes up for re-election in November 2008

For the most part conservatives and a few outliers - extremist left wingers -who voted NAYE on the Bailout bill.

TAKE ACTION

Strong consideration should be given to vote against everyone who voted YES on the Bailout bill this November's election. However, a No vote on the part of Kucinich should not save his job . . .
