I saw a post on the Cleveland.com National/International Forum with the video below. What an excellent video & message. This is one of my all-time favorite songs. What a power message when it was first written and maybe even more so today.

Khrushchev 2009
ReplyDeleteThe late Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev once said in reference to capitalism, "We will bury you".
To update that message for 2009 the former Soviet communist dictator might be saying to America, “We will Barry you.” Maybe he had someone like alleged President Barry Soetoro (a/k/a Barack Obama) in mind when he originally made his famous statement in the sixties.
Soetoro (a/k/a Obama) seems to be moving quickly to destroy capitalism and institute a Soviet style socialism here in America, where Khrushchev and others were unable to do so from the outside.
