The Opposition Media

The phrase "mainstream media" is a misnomer. ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, MSBNC and PBS no longer reflect the view of mainstream America or Main Street Americans in any way, shape or form. They have not for some time. They have used their waning power to influence the populace and to try to undermine the principles and values upon which America was founded.

They, along with Congress, academia, and the courts OPPOSE most of the will, desires, values and beliefs of the vast majority of Americans, and that is why we call them the opposition media. It is much more reflective of who they are.

During the past presidential campaign the opposition media especially showed its true colors, which are mostly socialist red in hue. They proved to less than honest, disgustingly pro-Soetoro (Obama) and very subjective in their coverage. Sweet kisses and soft ball questions tossed at Barry Soetoro (a/k/a Barack H. Obama) loaded bazooka questions and live hand grenades were thrown at Sarah Palin, for example . . .

The opposition media no longer report the news, they manipulate, they censor it, and use it to further their debased leftist/socialist agenda. I agree with Sean Hannity, who often claims that 2008 was the year that journalism died in America. You really can’t believe anything you read in the paper or see or hear on any of the opposition media outlet.

No wonder the Left is so anxious to silence the real mainstream media, conservative talk radio. Conservative talk radio and its listeners reflect America much more than Katie Couric, Tom Brokaw or Charlie Gibson.
