Writs of habeas corpus should not apply to foreign terrorist. The Supreme Court blundered again. It proves one thing the Supreme Court is anything but Supreme.

  1. The unqualified uses of the word “person” or “people” in the Constitution apply to all human beings, not just citizens.

The 5th Amendment clearly indicates that no person should be held without an indictment of grand jury. The only exception is those serving in the U.S. military who commit acts treason against the United States in war time. Congress has authority over this according to Article 3 section 3. There should be no secret courts, secret evidence, or special military courts outside of these provisions.

President Bush has in fact violated even the rights of U.S. citizens with respect to 5th amendment. If this unchecked, extraordinary usurptation of presidential power is not curtailed, we (abortion protesting, fundamentalist Christian-types) will be next.
