Dems patently endorse same-sex marriage

Taking Back the Rainbow

Obama leads the charge, it’s one change we can do without

On June 3, the Democratic National Committee issued a 2008 [Homosexual/Lesbian] PRIDE proclamation supporting homosexual marriage. DNC Chairman Howard Dean joined Massachusetts Democratic Representative Barney Frank and Wisconsin Democratic Representative Tammy Baldwin in issuing the following Proclamation marking [homosexual/ lesbian/transgendered etc] PRIDE Month:

"Today, on behalf of Democrats across America, we join together in celebrating the contributions that lesbian, [homosexual], bisexual, and transgender Americans and their families make to our society and reaffirm our Party's commitment to promoting [SEXUAL DISORIENTTION, SEXUAL DEVIANCY, SPECIAL PRIVELEGED CLASS STATUS WHICH IN THE END IS NOT REAL] full equality under the law for every American.

"As leaders of the Democratic Party, we stand proudly with [AND PANDER TO] the LGBT community and commit ourselves to working together to build an America that is truly inclusive [AND TOTALLY INTOLERANT AND WISHING TO SILENCE CONSERVATIVE AND TRUE CHRISTIAN VOICES]. Every American has the right to live in dignity, with equal rights [BUT HOMOSEXUAL, LESBIANS ETC EVEN MORESO], responsibilities and [SPECIAL, PRIVELEGED] protections under the law. These are our country's and our Party's core values. Across the country, at every level of government, Democrats have championed sweeping protections in the areas of employment, housing, domestic partnerships and civil unions, adoption, gender identity or expression, and hate crimes
[ALL UNNECESSARY AND HARMFUL TO SOCIETY].

"Despite all we have accomplished, our work is not done. We need to fight efforts to write discrimination [WHICH IS WHAT THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY IS ACTUALLY DOING IN ITS SUPPORT OF ENDA AND HATE CRIME LAWS] into our laws and constitutions. We need to pass the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, pass the Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Act, and repeal 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell.' We need a comprehensive, science-based strategy for combating HIV/AIDS [HOW ABOUT STOP ENCOURAGING HARMFUL BEHAVIORS IN THE FIRST PLACE AND PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR RISKY BEHAVIOR?]. We must address the socioeconomic problems, including poverty and limited access to health care, that increase vulnerability to this disease.

"To do all of these things we need to put a Democrat in the White House, expand our majorities in Congress, and elect more Democrats at the local and state level across the country. To do that, we need you. Get active, get involved, and join us so we can take our country back [YOU MEAN SO YOU CAN TAX & SPEND AMERICANS TO DEATH, SO YOU CAN ONCE AGAIN APPEASE OUR FOREIGN EMEMIES, CRIPPLE OUR NATIONAL DEFENSE, CONTINUE POROUS BORDERS, DESTROY OUR CHILDREN IN FAILED SECULAR HUMANISTIC SCHOOLS, DRIVE OUR INDUSTRIES OVERSEAS THROUGH OPPRESSIVE AND UNNECESSARY ENVIRONMENTAL LAWS?]."

.

Much to the delight of same-sex advocates and Democratic Party leadership, in a display of sheer arrogance, the California Supreme Court has refused to delay legalization of homosexual marriage until after the people of California have a chance to vote on the issue in November. Attorneys general from 10 states asked the activist judges to delay implementing their ruling, citing the millions of dollars in litigation it will cost their respective states and the legal chaos caused by the California Supreme Court.

These activist judges clearly showed their goal is to force homosexual marriage on every American. The only way America can protect itself from such radical judges is through an amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Contrast the Party of Obama’s position on same-sex issues with that of Congressman Paul Broun of Georgia who has introduced the Marriage Protection Amendment of 2008 (H.J. RES. 89). This amendment would make marriage legal only between a man and a woman.

110th CONGRESS
2d Session
H. J. RES. 89

Proposing an
amendment to the Constitution of the United States relating to marriage.

IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

May 22, 2008

Mr. BROUN of Georgia (for himself, Mr. FEENEY, Mr. PITTS, Mr. SHIMKUS, Mr .WESTMORELAND, Mr. WALBERG, Mr. BILBRAY, Mr.HOEKSTRA, Mr. MCCOTTER, Mr. BURTON of Indiana, Mr. FRANKS of Arizona, Mrs. CUBIN, Mr. AKIN, Mr. JONES of North Carolina, Mr. PETERSON of Pennsylvania, Mr. HALL of Texas, Mr. GARRETT of New Jersey, Mr. BROWN of South Carolina, Mr. GOODE, Ms. FOXX, Mr. LINDER, Mr. BARTLETT of Maryland, Mr. SOUDER, Mr. ADERHOLT, Mr. HUNTER, Mr. MILLER of Florida, Mr. HAYES, Mr. KING of Iowa, and Ms. FALLIN) introduced the following joint resolution; which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary

JOINT RESOLUTION

Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States relating to marriage.

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled (two-thirds of each House concurring therein), That the following article is proposed as an amendment to the Constitution of the United States, which shall be valid to all intents and purposes as part of the Constitution when ratified by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States:

`Article—

`Section 1. This article may be cited as the `Marriage Protection Amendment'.

`Section 2. Marriage in the United States shall consist only of the union of a man and a woman. Neither this Constitution, nor the constitution of any State, shall be construed to require that marriage or the legal incidents thereof be conferred upon any union other than the union of a man and a woman.'.

This election year we may not have a clear choice for President, but we certainly can try to elect as many true conservative members of the U.S. Congress, both in the House of Representatives and in the Senate. We must have a significant conservative presence in Congress to offset the march of the left if either the Republican or the Democrat is elected President.

TAKE ACTION

  1. So, to interpret your message, gay people aren't people? We don't pay taxes and aren't due to equal protection under the law?

Awesome. I'll let the IRS know.

  2. Hey Sean -

You wrote, "So, to interpret your message [homosexual and lesbian] people aren't people?

Sorry, Sean, you misinterpret my post. Clearly homosexuals, lesbians, etc. are people. Their behavior is what is what is clearly unhealthy, unnatural, abnormal and unnatural. We as a nation cannot condone, sanction or approve or encourage such wantonness. It is wrong. If adults choose to carry on such behavior in private, that is their business. But to demand that that behavior, that lifestyle be taught as normal, natural, moral or healthy in a classroom or anywhere is absolutely wrong.

Because a thief, an adulterer, a murderer pays taxes does not diminish the fact that his or her behavior is wrong. You mix oranges and apples.

Same-sex "couples" should in no way be elevated to a special, privileged class protection above any other individual in society - as they and their advocates clearly demand.

I am not for taking personhood away from homosexuals or lesbians, but I am for restoring personhood to the unborn.
