I joined a group of 50, who took an hour bus ride south to Columbus. We arrived to a sprinkle, then a heavier drizzle of rain. It soon subsided and the Party was on. Below are a few of the pictures that I hope capture some of the essence of what occurred this day . . .
By the size and enthusiasm of the crowd the TEA Party Movement continues to grow and to gain momentum. Hopefully our legislatures will hear the cry of the Tea Party patriots and stop the spending and stop the appropriation of taxes and the rights of We the People. We were encouraged to visit our representatives and Senators as they conduct their Town Hall meetings and visit their local district offices. They need to hear the great frustration, concern and anger of the people over the massive unchecked and unaccountable actions of the Congress and President the past few years.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the link. That's helpful since I only have one or two local stations on my TV . . .
I also was there and am disappointed with the news coverage. Glenn Beck had the Judge on his Monday evening show and they talked about the Columbus rally, estimated at 8-10,000. They commented on the lack of mainstream news coverage. Judge Napolitano even said that an Ohio paper had the crowd at 200-300 people. We need to press on. I think they may be getting scared. But they will not allow themselves to look intimidated. That is part of Alinsky's Rules for Radicals.

ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. Yes, the media coverage was shameful. Media malpractice at its best. 2008 was the year journalism died. The free press is now enslaved to the socialist agenda . . .
