No Town Hall Meetings for Sherrod Brown
Sherrod Brown is not going to hold any townhall meetings on health care. He is holding meetings with heathcare professionals only and according to his scheduler, is booked up for the recess. When asked of the scheduler why he is not meeting with his constituents, the answer was, "they ARE his constituents". This ought to get your blood moving.

ReplyDeleteI think you are correct. Many of the politicians will be avoiding any confrontations with their upset constituents. You can run but you can't hide. The politiicians need to hear from us.

Yesterday my husband called Brown's office to ask when any town hall meetings would be held. Over and over they kept saying, "Check the website". He kept asking, "can't you just TELL me?" They would say "no. check the website" My hubby was mad as a hornet!
ReplyDeleteI think, we Ohioans need to visit OUR Senator Sherrod Brown, at one of his offices in Ohio. We must remind him, who his bosses are. Just because he will not have a Town Hall meeting, doesn't mean, we cannot give him a visit. Want to go with me, anyone? Let us organize.

ReplyDeleteIf there was ever an elitist, it is Sherrod Brown. I, like many, have been following his positions and voting record and without a doubt he is far left and a White House lackey. He ignors his constituency; voting not what they want but what he and his party can impose on Ohioans. The Ohio citizenry need to look at his record and NOT re-elect him in 2012TR

After some extensive study (an ongoing process), I am convinced that there is an extreme effort, and it is no longer even covert, to subvert our constitution and redically transform our country into something we will not recognize. I have never been a conspiracy theorist, however ther are things transpiring daily that can ONLY be expained with an understanding of the progressive movement of the early 20th century. These are the same people who thought Hitler had it right... you know until he went off the deep end and got caught exterminating Jews. Please WAKE UP America and see this for what it is; there is an ongoing, conspicuous effort in this country to take away our freedoms. They aren't even trying to hide it any more! Sherrod Brown is simply part of the machine, and I don't think he is wise enough to even understand that he WORKS FOR US! Enough is enough! They simply are not listening to us any more. Speak with your vote and lets change the regime before its too late.
ReplyDeleteI was just informed that Sherrod Brown IS in fact holding a town hall meeting at the OSU Biomedical Research Tower (460 W 12th Ave, Columbus, OH 43120). Doors are said to open at 9:00, meeting will start at 10:30am. THIS TOWN HALL MEETING IS TODAY (8/12)! Sorry for the late notice, I just learned about it myself.
