Election 2008 Recommendations, Advice & Final Thoughts, Part 3 - The Issues

We continue the series of articles about tomorrow's election. We plan to look at the race for president, key congressional races, ballot issues, and some resources that might help with a voter's choices.

THE ISSUES

Tony Perkins from the Family Research Council (FRC) said on his weekly Washington Watch radio program that these issue- marriage, decriminalization of gambling, sanctity of human life – define the heart and soul of America. I wholeheartedly agree.

Arizona:

102 – Proposition 102 – Marriage Protection Amendment – YES

“Marriage is between a man and a woman.” - - - Arizona’s Proposition 102

California:

8 – Proposition 8 - Marriage Protection Amendment – YES
“If you believe what the Bible says about marriage you need to support proposition 8." --- Rick Warren, Pastor, Saddleback Church

According to such notable and respected Christian leaders as Don Wildmon of the American Family Association (AFA) and Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council (FRC), this one ballot issue is THE MOST IMPORTANT VOTE in the entire November 2008 election. It is more important, they both say, than the presidential election. Why? Tony Perkins said that Americans have made bad choices in the past in their selection of Presidential candidates, but as a nation, we survived. He feels that American cannot and will not survive the dissolution of marriage. I would definitely concur, and is why I voted None-of-the-Above for President.
